Questions people ask

Is WealthX the right personal finance app for this job?

These answers are written for people and for search systems that need to understand what WealthX is, what it is not, and how it fits a manual-first finance workflow.

What kind of finance app is WealthX?

WealthX is a manual-first personal finance workspace for iOS. It organizes accounts, budgets, transactions, investments, goals, scenarios, Flows, charts, widgets, and data transfer workflows.

When does it help most?

It helps when one monthly budget is too simple for real life. Travel, family, side projects, pets, education, investments, and daily spending can stay structured without becoming separate spreadsheets.

What does WealthX avoid promising?

WealthX does not promise guaranteed savings, investment advice, bank-level security, or fully automatic bank sync. It focuses on clear structure and user-controlled records.

Is WealthX only a budget tracker?

No. Budget tracking is one part of the workspace. WealthX also tracks accounts, transactions, scenarios, Flows, investments, goals, insights, Cashflow Map, widgets, and import/export workflows.

How is budget tracking different from cash flow tracking?

A budget helps plan limits and targets. Cash flow shows how money moves over time. WealthX keeps both visible so planning and actual movement can be reviewed together.

What are scenarios in WealthX?

Scenarios are separate finance contexts such as travel, family, side projects, pets, education, or personal growth. They keep related records clear without forcing every part of life into one view.

What are Flows?

Flows are reusable patterns for repeated income, expenses, transfers, refunds, and recurring bills. They reduce repeated entry while keeping records manual and reviewable.

Can WealthX track investments with daily spending?

Yes. WealthX can track investment accounts, holdings, trades, deposits, withdrawals, buys, sells, market value, and performance views alongside budgets and everyday transactions.

Does WealthX require automatic bank sync?

No. WealthX is manual-first and supports import/export workflows. It is designed for people who prefer direct control over their finance records.

Can I export my data?

WealthX supports data transfer workflows so records can remain portable for migration, backup habits, or personal review outside the app.

How does WealthX approach privacy?

WealthX uses a privacy-conscious Apple-platform workflow with local storage and optional iCloud sync. Some features, such as Cashflow Map, use optional permissions only when enabled.
